Meadowlands Pre-School is a committee-led setting made up of parents whose children attend the pre-school. This approach ensures that our parents have a real voice and play an active role in the running and development of the setting.

We are also a registered charity and operate as a non-profit organisation. Any money raised is reinvested directly back into Meadowlands, supporting our resources, building, and day-to-day running costs to benefit the children in our care.

Parents and families are encouraged to get involved in our social and fundraising events throughout the year, helping to strengthen our sense of community.

The committee is responsible for:

• Managing the setting’s finances

• Employing and managing staff

• Ensuring appropriate policies are in place and followed to maintain a high-quality service

• Working in partnership with parents and carers

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) is open to all parents of children attending Meadowlands. It provides an opportunity to reflect on the past year’s achievements and to help shape the future of the pre-school together.
